Kraków is once again taking part in the City Nature Challenge (CNC) 2025, an international event that brings together nature lovers, scientists, and citizen scientists from around the world to document biodiversity using the iNaturalist platform.

From April 25, 2025, residents and visitors of Kraków will have the opportunity to explore their surroundings, take photos of plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms, and contribute valuable data to a global database of urban biodiversity. Whether you are an experienced naturalist or just starting your journey in nature observation, your participation will help showcase Kraków’s rich natural heritage and support scientific research.
