TEACHER APPRECIATION

We focus on making sure the teachers and staff feel supported and appreciated. Involvement may look like donating sweet treats and snacks, volunteering in person to setup a meal, helping with Teacher Appreciation Week, or helping with the monthly the Happy Cart treats for all teachers and staff.

We host a quarterly "Just 'Cause Day" to shower our sweet kids with a little sweetness just because we are thankful for them and proud of them! We coordinate with the PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Staff of CMS  to put on the quarterly school Incentive Days and to stock our Merit Store.

We support the basic needs of the students and school community.  Our team works with CMS staff to help CMS families in need. We also coordinate annual needs like snacks for every child during testing days and field trips.

We help Ms. Hinger in the Media Center with any needs that she has (book fair, library volunteers, library events).

OWL FLIGHT FUN RUN

We organize the Owl Flight Fun Run! It is mostly a beginning of the year commitment but after the race, it’s pretty low key.

HONORS DAY

We help the CMS Staff with the end of the year Honors Day events for each grade.  Work for this team is minimal and happens from March-May with most of it happening in May.
