Occupational Therapy

School-based occupational therapy works to ensure that students can participate in all school activities—from paying attention in class; holding school tools and using them effectively (pencil/scissors); to responding appropriately to noises, sights, or smells around them.

Physical Therapy

School-based physical therapy works on gross motor skill development, providing exercises and activities to enhance general strength and endurance, and modify or improve students’ abilities to physically access their school environment.

If you have a question as to whether an activity is appropriate for your child, please contact your child’s occupational or physical therapist. This website is not intended to be or replace medical advice.
