To start off, you will see a recommended print menu. This menu is fine if you do not want to make anything too complicated. BUT 3D printing is all about customization! so might as well try things out. First off, I recommend using only 5-15% infill for a regular ol' object, you do not need to use so much infill!
If you want to go to the next level and customize, select the Custom button.
Layer Height
For higher quality prints, go down to .10mm for most prints, .18mm is good enough if you have a .04mm (standard) nozzle
Shell
Wall line count: be 2--5 !
2 for simple objects, 4 is standard and what I usually do
Infill
5-15% for most objects. 20% if the design needs to be sturdier. I usually print at 7% infill
Material
PLA: 200-210 Celsius
Abs: 240+ Celsius
PETG: 230
Speed
50 - 70mm/s. The Ender Pro could go higher but other printers can be sketchy with higher speeds.
Travel
Enable retraction on. Check mark to Z Hop if there are a lot of columns or supports.
Cooling
Just leave as is ☺
Build plate adhesion
I recommend always using Brim with relatively low line count OR a skirt if you dont want excess filament connected to your print. This gives you time to level your machine while the head moves around
This is a little more tricky. If your 3D model has an Overhang you will need to Generate support. An overhang means there is nothing holding up a part of your 3D object.
You can copy most of these, the variable is support density. IF you want your support to be easily removable, a low number like 5% is good but if your overhand is high up, the support might fall over so you need higher density.
If you want to spice things up (or save filament) Tree support is good to use if an overhang is high up, or you have an organic shape, or if you do not want to waste too much filament. Just select tree support and change the settings for it in the Support menu
You can preview your print to make sure everything's right and save. Make sure you SAVE TO DRIVE into the SD card you're putting in your printer.
