On June 6th, 2019 the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, Clifford Moseley at the age of 94 was awarded the Legion of Honour by France for fighting for their liberty on their soil during WWII.
The Legion of Honour is the highest French order of merit for military and civil merits, established in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte and retained by all later French governments and régimes. He was also presented a Certificate of Recognition by The State of Texas House of Representatives Honoring him For Service to his Country on June 6th, 1944.

Moseley and Abbott both trained at Camp Fannin. As luck would have it after the war they landed back at Camp Fannin in the same outfit. Both combat veterans were awarded The Expert Infantryman Badge. (See article below "Combat Veterans")
Not everyday do you get to meet a WWII POW but we, at Legends, have had the pleasure to get to know this young gentleman.
