The Bloomsburg University Student Theatrical Educational Drama is a musical comedy improvisational group about college life, founded in 1998 by George Kinzel (GK) at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. B.U.S.T.E.D. performs shows several times a semester, featuring scripted improv shows where the story and plot points are scripted, but the journey from one plot point to another is unscripted.
C.M. Lundervold has been an active member of B.U.S.T.E.D. since September, 2021, as a cast member. Starting February, 2022, they assisted in writing the scripts for the shows. This is the first time, since 1998, students in the group took charge of writing the show scripts, as they were originally written by the group advisor, GK. Lundervold collaborated with other members of the group to form entertaining stories, ranging from silly goofy scenarios to serious topics of alcoholism and mental health crises. In August, 2022, Lundervold became the Lead Writer for the group. They wrote two full scripts during the Fall 2022 semester, working with several characters and revisions within tight deadlines. Despite their success with independently writing two full-length shows (ranging from one to two hours), the intensity and intricacies of the process led them to starting a Writing Crew for the group.
The Writing Crew of B.U.S.T.E.D. consisted of Lundervold themself and four other cast members. As the Writing Lead, Lundervold created a schedule to complete the script in a time-efficient manner. They scheduled meeting times and led discussions about the shows. The group worked together to write scripts to be proud of, knowing that what they write will be the backbone of the group's rehearsals during the weeks leading up to the show. As their time in B.U.S.T.E.D. comes to an end, Lundervold is taking the time to train the next Writing Lead of the group to take over their role after graduation.
If life is nature, I am a feather in the breeze. As soon as I land, feeling safe and secure, the wind picks me up again, time after time. I was once scared of heights, but now I've embraced this flight.
Forever in the Wind is a collection of poems written between the years 2019 and 2021. Themes range from the adoration of the natural world and works written during a time of internal chaos. C.M. Lundervold uses their inspiration from personal experiences to create literary art.
