The CMI Student Seminars are a series of engaging talks presented by the students of the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI). These seminars provide a valuable platform for students to share and discuss their ongoing research, academic pursuits, and areas of interest within the field of mathematics and theoretical computer science (CS). The seminars foster a collaborative environment where students can present their ideas, seek feedback, and engage in stimulating discussions with their peers and faculty members.
By encouraging students to present their work in a formal setting, the seminars help to hone their communication skills and deepen their understanding of complex mathematical concepts. They also promote a sense of community within the institute, facilitating interdisciplinary exchanges among students from various fields such as pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and theoretical computer science
