The Computational Materials Design Lab (CMD Lab) focuses on AI-driven computational chemistry and materials modeling for next-generation energy technologies
Our core research areas include:
Electrochemical electrode materials
Electrocatalysts for energy conversion
Simulated separation technologies
AI-driven materials discovery
We combine computational chemistry, molecular simulation, AI, and other techniques with close experimental collaboration
As a graduate student in CMD Lab, you will be trained to become a computational materials scientist with strong AI capability

Qualifications
Background in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields
Strong interest in computational modeling, AI, or energy materials
Programming experience (Python, ML frameworks) is a plus but not required
For Postdocs: Ph.D. degree and publication record preferred
