The Computational Materials Design Lab (CMD Lab) focuses on AI-driven computational chemistry and materials modeling for next-generation energy technologies

Our core research areas include:

• Electrochemical electrode materials

• Electrocatalysts for energy conversion

• Simulated separation technologies

• AI-driven materials discovery

We combine computational chemistry, molecular simulation, AI, and other techniques with close experimental collaboration

As a graduate student in CMD Lab, you will be trained to become a computational materials scientist with strong AI capability

1. Research Areas

• Computational water splitting

• Computational batteries

• AI-driven materials discovery

This research aligns with national energy strategies and industrial demand

3. Qualifications

• Background in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields

• Strong interest in computational modeling, AI, or energy materials

• Programming experience (Python, ML frameworks) is a plus but not required

• For Postdocs: Ph.D. degree and publication record preferred
