From computational chemistry to artificial intelligence
September 5, 2023
Our team is committed to advancing the frontiers of computational materials design (CMD) through the integration of state-of-the-art computational chemistry, molecular simulations, and artificial intelligence. By combining fundamental theory with data-driven approaches, we aim to establish predictive frameworks that accelerate the discovery of functional materials for sustainable energy conversion and storage.
We embrace a collaborative and interdisciplinary spirit, as exemplified by our joint research presentations with Professor Long's group at University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). Through such global academic exchanges, our members not only present their research outcomes but also engage in critical discussions that refine ideas, expand perspectives, and create synergy across experimental and computational domains.
At the heart of our mission is the belief that innovation stems from the convergence of diverse expertise and open collaboration. We seek to provide an environment where young researchers can challenge themselves, cultivate creativity, and contribute to transformative solutions for pressing scientific and societal challenges.
