We welcome students and postdocs who enjoy tackling problems from new angles and combining metallurgical and materials-science fundamentals with computational tools. If interested, please email Karnpiwat.T@chula.ac.th
Undergraduates who are eager to challenge themselves, explore beyond traditional metallurgy, and commit to our lab for at least one year are strongly encouraged to contact us.
We welcome motivated graduate students from diverse backgrounds—including materials engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, and computer science. Applicants with experience in AI or machine learning are especially encouraged to apply.
We are currently recruiting for two research directions:
Physics-based modeling: Alloying and dealloying processes in lithium (and sodium) alloy anodes
AI/Machine learning: Image segmentation and analysis of steel microstructures
Postdoctoral candidates should email their CV along with a one-page summary of their research directions together with potential project ideas and their motivation for joining the lab.
We welcome inquiries from highly motivated visiting scholars interested in collaborative research aligned with our focus areas.
