Big Announcemnts From Concordian Government
CMBC, alongside all the Concordian Republic, recieved news from the Announcements section of the government website providing three pieces of information. First, the confirmation of a leak saying the Basic Law was being written. Second, the announcement of a new Minister for Internal Policy. Finally, some micronational rankings. We will go into all three in further detail below.
First off the bat, an announcement stating the Basic Law of the Concordian Republic is, in fact, being written. This confirmed our earlier reporting featuring a leak from the Environment Ministry (image attatched). It was announced that the President was collaborating with the Environment Minister to write the Basic Law. 'The Concordian Basic Law is finally going to solidify the polticial systems present de facto only before this,' read part of his official statement.
The second was on the formation of a new Ministry. The Minister for Internal Policy will be in charge of economics and regulation within the country. President Russell said that he was, 'deeply honoured to be taking on this role, despite the challenges I may face.' The President was selected as the best candidate for this role due to his deep understanding of economic systems.
Finally, some less important news. Despite viewing itself as a fully sovereign nation, the Concordian Republic is considered by outside observers as a micronation. As such, the Government decieded to use micronational development indexes to rank themselves. First, Hamilton's Index of Micronational Seriousness, where a 4.2/5 was achieved. This high number surprised no-one, as the Concordian Republic is a very solid and strong nation. The other was the Economic Potential Index, where a very low 1.9/5 was scored. The lower number was put down to the youth of the nation not providing for high economic development.
