I am a Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellow and proleptic senior lecturer at the University of Bristol. 

Previously, I was a Post-Doctoral Faculty Fellow in Number theory at Boston University. 

My research centres on the Birch–Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture and the parity phenomena it predicts. I am particularly interested in the local arithmetic of curves and their Jacobians: understanding and explicitly computing the invariants that enter these conjectures, such as Tamagawa numbers, conductors, root numbers and local parity terms.

I did my PhD at the university of Warwick under the supervision of Vladimir Dokchitser.
