OUSD COVID Testing --> Full OUSD memo here
To access free testing from OUSD (Rapid BinaxNOW self-test and PRC test), families, students, and staff MUST register and consent for COVID testing through the Primary website. Self-test results must be uploaded to Primary and PCR test results will be uploaded Primary for you on-site.
Each individual must register separately.
Children under the age of 13 will need the consent of a parent/guardian.
There are "three ways" for families, students, and staff to access testing:
10 regional testing locations where any community member can access rapid and PCR tests. Testing sites are generally open from 8:00am - 4:00pm. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-up testing is also available.
At-home rapid test kits are available at all school sites for those who need them, are planning to use them within the week, AND will report their results online. [NOTE: Distribution and availability is not consistent across the district. Some administrations are withholding kits and some sites only have enough kits for 10% of the student population]
Rapid Response Teams will come to schools in the event there is a positive case to provide testing on-site twice a week, for two weeks, to all prolonged close contacts and any other members of the school community who wish to be tested at that time.
