Worship
Come as you are! We offer a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere in which to worship our Lord. Sunday worship services begin at 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM. The morning blended service includes contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns with scripture reading, prayer, and congregations responses. Special music is performed by the Clunette UMC Choir, the Prairie Fire Praise Band, and others. "The Circuit" evening worship service features driving praise songs, along with a message, scripture readings and a time of prayer.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month, which is open to everyone who loves Jesus, earnestly repents of their sin, and wishes to live in peace with God and one another. You do not need to be baptized or a member of our church to partake- it is the Lord's table, not ours!
Fellowship
Fellowship is important to developing and maintaining an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Aside from Sunday services we offer opportunities to gather at other times such as carry-in suppers, game nights, and more.
Nursery Care
We have a full nursery available downstairs. There are speakers in it through which the sermon is broadcast, so you won't miss out. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
Education
Our church offers a number of education opportunities for all ages.
"Pew Packs" are available during services for young children. They are found in a cabinet in the side foyer, just as you are about to enter the sanctuary. These plastic ziplock bags consist of a children's activity bulletin, a toy or craft, and an individually wrapped snack.
The Youth Network- a collaborative youth group for 5th-12th grades - is jointly offered by area United Methodist churches. This meets throughout the school year, and consists of educational opportunities, dinner and game nights, mission projects and youth trips.
Church camp is a priority for our church, and we do what we can to see that camp opportunities are made available to any of our children that want to go.
Adult bible studies are offrered throughout the year, especially during Lent and Advent.
During the second half of morning worship service, Children’s Church is available in the Education Room for children up to through 6th grade.
Soul Searchers Youth Group is available every other Wednesday night starting at 6:30 PM (generally running while Warsaw Community Schools are in session). Open to all ages of kids. Meal provided. Email Pastor Mike at mike.beezley@inumc.org for more information.
Adult Bible study groups meet during some weeks. Email Pastor Mike at mike.beezley@inumc.org for more details of meeting times and current itinerary.
Membership and Baptism classes take place between Easter and Pentecost.
Outreach
We believe we are all called by God to reach out to others. Clunette United Methodist lives out this calling through missionary support, community projects and more.
Some of the ministries we support include providing chapel worship service at Fellowship Missions homeless shelter the last Wednesday of each month (currently suspended due to Covid-19), donating to the local community food bank and utility fundraiser at Combined Community Services, support of Warsaw First UMC's Community Closet, missionary support in Venezuela, our annual "Feed the Farmers" mission event, and adopting families and senior citizens at Christmas.
