Your privacy is our priority
ClueWord is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you
and only you. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any
personal information.
All data stays on your device
Every piece of information generated by ClueWord — your game
stats, streak count, hint balance, purchased themes, and settings
— is stored exclusively on your iPhone or iPad using on-device
storage. No data is ever sent to our servers, because we do not
have any servers.
No data collection — ever
We do not collect:
Names, email addresses, or contact information
Location data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or crash reports
Game progress or results
Any personally identifiable information of any kind
In-app purchases
ClueWord offers the following one-time purchases and consumables:
ClueWord Pro — $1.99 (one-time, non-consumable)
Unlocks unlimited hints, Unlimited Mode and all colour themes.
No subscription. No recurring charges.
5 Hints — $0.99 (consumable)
20 Hints — $2.99 (consumable)
Theme Pack — $0.99 (one-time, non-consumable)
All purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store
and StoreKit. We never see, handle, or store your payment
information. Apple manages all billing and receipts. Please refer
to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles
payment data.
No subscriptions
ClueWord does not offer any auto-renewable subscriptions. All
purchases are either one-time or consumable. You will never be
charged on a recurring basis.
Game Center
ClueWord does not use Apple Game Center or any leaderboards.
Notifications
ClueWord does not send any push notifications. The daily puzzle
is available at midnight and no reminder notifications are sent.
Third-party services
ClueWord does not use any third-party analytics, advertising,
crash reporting, or tracking services. There are no third-party
SDKs that collect data.
Security
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security
(Face ID, Touch ID, passcode). We use only standard iOS
encryption provided by the operating system. We do not implement
any custom encryption algorithms.

Deleting your data
Because all your data is stored on your device, deleting it is
simple: press and hold the ClueWord icon on your home screen and
tap Remove App then Delete App. All locally stored data is
permanently removed the moment the app is uninstalled.
Children's privacy
ClueWord does not collect any data from any users including
children. The app is safe for all ages.
Changes to this policy
If we update this privacy policy we will update the date at the
top of this page. We will never introduce data collection without
clearly notifying users.
In plain English
We don't collect anything. Your game data never leaves your
phone. We have no servers, no accounts, no tracking, no ads.
Just a word game.
