Club de Español

Club de Español at UC San Diego is a nonprofit, student-run organization that aims to foster a welcoming community of Spanish-speaking students of all levels. The club will provide students with opportunities to enhance their Spanish-speaking skills and learn about Spanish-speaking cultures, while promoting friendships and organizing exciting events and field trips. The club will emphasize the importance of Spanish in our sociopolitical context and connecting with the local Spanish-speaking community.

Club de Español en UC San Diego es una organización sin fines de lucro dirigida por estudiantes con el objetivo de fomentar una comunidad acogedora de estudiantes hispanohablantes de todos niveles. El club brindará a los estudiantes oportunidades para mejorar su español y aprender sobre las culturas hispanohablantes, a la vez que fomenta amistades y organiza eventos y excursiones excitantes. Enfatizamos la importancia del español en nuestro contexto sociopolítico y cómo conectarnos con la comunidad hispanohablante local. 

Join us! During our meetings, we play games, discuss culture, watch movies and shows, and form lasting friendships, all the while practicing Spanish! Spanish speakers of all levels are welcome, from total beginners to native speakers. We also provide support for students taking Spanish language and literature classes!

¡Únete a nosotros! Durante nuestras reuniones, jugamos, discutimos la cultura, vemos películas y series, y formamos amistades duraderas, ¡todo mientras practicamos español! Hablantes de español de todos los niveles son bienvenidos, desde principiantes hasta hablantes nativos. ¡Ofrecemos también apoyo a estudiantes que toman clases de lengua y literatura española!
