Food Pantry
Community Life Support provides Essential Food Support to our community (residents of Hoosick Valley School District), in the Presbyterian United Church of Schaghticoke.
Regular food and holiday meals are supplied to those in need.
Weekly distribution is on Mondays 9-11 AM and Thursdays 4 to 6 PM.
Pantry is closed in Winter if school is closed for weather.
Advance registration is required for pantry pick-up.
Donations of food and essential supplies are VERY welcome!
Items always welcome include:
Pancake mix
Cereal
Canned fruits
Canned soups
Instant potato’s
Cranberry sauce
Turkey gravy
Pasta sauces
Canned tomatoes
Healthy kids snacks
Juice boxes
Fresh veggies
Canned veggies
Hot dogs
Pot pies or frozen meals
Canned beans/pork and beans
Canned chicken
Mixes for chili and tacos to fill our meal bags
Small size laundry detergent
Tooth brushes and toothpaste
Deodorant
Diapers size 5 & 6
All freezer items must be dropped off to the pantry on Mondays from 9-11am or Thursdays from 4-6pm

Our Schaghticoke Community lacks a place for shared public activities and support services, including after-school programming, accessible medical care, and more. This initiative aims to fix that! We are actively working to identify a suitable site, prepare an plan, and obtain funding and official support. If you can help, please contact us!

CLS Events
CLS provides many events throughout the year, from yoga, sewing, and Tai Chi classes, to out much-loved Strawberry Festival in Summer and the Christmas Just Around The Corner gift and craft market. For details and dates, jump over to our Facebook page!
