Clover Hill Orchard is owned and operated by Daniel and Kim Curry. This is a 1st generation family farm/orchard which is 10 miles south of Mount Ayr, Iowa. The Farm was established in 2013 and was an 80 acre Amish farm that consisted mostly of hay and pasture ground. In the first year, the Curry's planted the first 300 apple trees. Each year since the orchard has expanded and at the end of 2015 there are approximately 2400 apple trees and a 2 acre pumpkin patch. At the end of 2016, the 1,000 trees of Evercrisp were planted that expanded the orchard to 3,400 trees.
The Curry family consists of Daniel and Kim Curry that we married back in 2006 and have lived all over the country. Daniel was enlisted in the active duty military from 2006 to 2010. While in the Army, Daniel and Kim dreamed about moving back and being able to provide an experience that families can be together to create memories. In 2010, we settled back in Iowa and moved to our current location in 2013 with our now 3 children, Lillie, Ben and Jonathan. All of the children help in the orchard and we are truly able to make it a family experience.
