Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith started farming in the San Joaquin Valley in 1999. Matthew has an extensive background in farming tree, vine and row crops in both small and large scale/corporate farming settings. He is passionate about farming sustainably and comfortable with both conventional and organic operations. Additionally, he has farmed fully integrated and worked with both farmers markets and traditional large scale processors.

In 2018, Matthew and his wife Courtney started Clover Ag Chem. Clover Ag Chem is a unique group of Independent Farm Advisors, assisting growers with farm inputs. Additionally, Clover Ag Chem can assist growers with purchasing crop protection and plant health products that suit your individual ranch needs.
