Free Cloud Storage ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

App & Storage Data

• Files you upload, including content stored in your Secure Vault

• File metadata (name, size, type, dates, and folder structure)

• Upload, download, and activity history within the App

• App settings, preferences, and theme choices saved on your device

• Secure Vault credentials (PIN or password) stored only as a salted cryptographic hash on your device — we never store your PIN or password in plain text

Automatically Collected Data

• Device type, operating system version, and App version

• Network connectivity status for sync and transfer features

• Anonymous on-device user identifier used to organize your files locally

• Diagnostic data needed to maintain App stability

Advertising Data
When ads are displayed, Google AdMob and its partners may collect additional information as described in Section 6 (Advertising Policy).

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information described above to:

• Provide cloud storage, file organization, sync, and sharing features

• Protect Secure Vault access through your chosen PIN or password

• Send notifications about uploads, downloads, and transfers (with your permission)

• Improve App performance, reliability, and user experience

• Display advertisements that help keep the App free

• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal files or file contents to third parties.

3. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

Your files and App data are stored on your device using the App's local storage vault. We apply safeguards including encrypted Secure Vault storage and secure file handling through Android's scoped storage model.

You are responsible for keeping your Secure Vault PIN or password confidential. If you forget your credentials, private vault files may become permanently inaccessible.

4. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not share your uploaded files with third parties except:

• When you intentionally create a share link — anyone with that link may access the shared content until you revoke it or it expires

• When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process

• To protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the App

5. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

You may:

• Delete files at any time; deleted items move to the Recycle Bin before permanent removal

• Revoke share links at any time from the App

• Clear locally cached data from Settings

• Manage ad consent and personalization from Settings → Ad Settings

• Disable notifications through your device or App settings

• Uninstall the App to remove locally stored App data from your device

Depending on your region, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as access, correction, or deletion). Contact us using the details in Section 11.

6. ADVERTISING POLICY

This App is supported by advertising through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC.

Types of Ads

• Banner ads at the bottom of supported screens

• Native ads within scrollable content areas

• Interstitial ads after meaningful actions (never during active uploads, downloads, or sync)

• Rewarded ads for optional features (e.g. Secure Vault, premium privacy)

• App open ads when you launch or return to the App

Consent and Personalization

• In required regions (EEA, UK, Switzerland), we use Google's UMP for consent before personalized ads

• Change preferences anytime via Settings → Ad Settings → Manage consent preferences

• Opt out via device settings (Google Ads / Reset Advertising ID) and in-app consent options

Data Collected for Advertising
Google and partners may collect: Advertising ID, IP address, device identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostic data.

Third-Party Advertising Partners
AdMob may share data with authorized partners subject to Google's policies and their privacy notices.

Children and Ads
App is not directed at children; we do not knowingly serve targeted ads based on data from children under 13. See Section 7.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY POLICY

Free Cloud Storage is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided such information, contact us at support@example.com — we will delete it promptly.

Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of mobile apps and online services.

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain files and App data while you use the App or until you delete them. Activity logs and cache follow your settings. Permanent delete or uninstall removes local data, subject to device backup/recovery.

9. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Data is processed locally on your device. Advertising partners like Google may process data in countries where they operate, per their policies and applicable safeguards.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy; Last updated shows the revision date. Material changes will be communicated through the App or other means. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
