West Monroe is excited to hire a Cybersecurity – Senior Manager to lead carveout and other post-close M&A projects with a focus on building out new IT security programs from the ground up. The senior manager will often lead consulting teams in developing cybersecurity roadmaps for divested entities, including cybersecurity architecture/design, process & policy creation, security controls implementation, governance/risk management/compliance (GRC) advisory, resiliency planning, application & cloud security, and tools/vendor selection. This role will also help clients with cybersecurity organization design, resource planning, and total cost of ownership (TCO)/cost modeling to understand the one-time and recurring investments needed to transition to and sustain the new security program. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth firm and play a lead role in architecting robust cybersecurity programs for newly established companies across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:
Act as Cybersecurity Lead on client engagements involving carveout-to-standalone, carveout-to-integration, merger integration, and other M&A transactions
Roadmap and develop robust cybersecurity programs through the lens of cyber resiliency, including leading discovery and solutioning workshops, assessing the cybersecurity operating model environment (people, processes, and technology), and developing estimates for one-time transition costs and go-forward operating model (run rate investments)
Provide strategic cybersecurity advisory, due diligence, and transformation services ranging from policy definition to controls implementation, tool selection, and overall program adoption
Introduce IT security controls to newly formed organizations with the goal of mitigating the chance of ransomware attacks or similar incidents
Lead transaction execution initiatives as part of defined cybersecurity roadmaps, including Day 1 readiness and longer-term transition projects, interfacing will all levels of management and personnel internally and at client organization
Manage relationships with Private Equity executives and other industry client contacts to determine project requirements and provide status updates; translate requirements into concrete proposals, including detailed work plans and cost estimates
Lead consultants on engagements, delegate workstreams, and act as career advisor/mentor
Assist with and/or lead business development efforts, including SOW development and identifying potential new client pursuits
Contribute to practice development by mentoring junior consultants on best practices, staying abreast of industry trends, creating reusable methodologies, and offering expertise to the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
Consulting firm/industry experience preferred
10-15+ years of experience in cybersecurity with broad knowledge of various domains: security architecture, risk & compliance, controls auditing, incident response planning, cloud security, application security, data privacy, threat intelligence, etc.
Adept at leading cybersecurity risk & controls assessments using frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO/IEC 27001
Knowledge of various regulatory compliance and privacy frameworks: PCI-DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, FedRAMP, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
Experience project managing and delivering end-to-end solutions: people management, strategy/roadmap development, design/architecture, implementation, change management, etc.
Knowledge of cybersecurity products and services landscape, including leading providers across key security domains (e.g., Managed Detection & Response (MDR))
Confident in conveying complex cybersecurity concepts to executive client stakeholders
Excellent verbal, presentation/facilitation, and written communication skills
Willingness to travel for client engagements (~15-20% per year on average)

The opportunity
This is a remote opportunity that can be performed within Continental United States.
As an Information System Security Officer (ISSO), you will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate security posture is maintained for one or more GPS information systems. The ISSO serves as the principal advisor on all matters related to information security of their information systems. This includes planning the appropriate security throughout the lifecycle of the system, and ensuring continuous monitoring.
Specifically, GPS supports NIST SP 800-37 while using appropriate controls and maturity processes from NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, and the Dept. of Defense’s (DoD’s) Cybersecurity Maturity Model. This includes risk management processes and reporting at the system, customer, and program level. GPS systems must also comply with EY’s security policies and standards.
Your key responsibilities
Own the planning, monitoring, testing, and updating of system security plans for assigned information systems using controls from NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, the Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide, and/or CMMC control libraries
Take ownership of issues discovered during security control and risk assessments by creating and managing plans of action through our GRC tool.
Advise and inform the appropriate System Owner, Authorizing Official, and GPS management regarding issues or concerns regarding GPS information systems
Investigate and document risks associated with information systems for management review and acceptance
Develop knowledge of information system threat sources, events, vulnerabilities, and likelihood of adverse impacts (as defined in NIST SP 800-30) to GPS systems.
Support Authorizing Officials with their risk-based decision process by preparing appropriate system and risk documentation
Participate in the management of information security risks at the system and program levels

About the Role:

The Senior Cloud Security Engineer is a technology and process focused security professional with significant experience in the information security, cloud architecture and engineering, and DevSecOps disciplines. Your Role Accountabilities...
Act as a highly technical cloud security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the InfoSec department.
Research, innovate, and design cloud first security solutions.

Vanguard Identity & Access Management - IAM is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Technology Lead - Cloud Security, who would lead an ~10-member team of Cloud IAM engineers in designing and architecting IAM solutions on AWS and Azure Clouds. Analyzing and validating access needs and determining role ownership. Assisting in the configuration and implementation of identity and access systems and applications using DevSecOps tools and methods. Troubleshooting operational problems on AWS & Azure IAM
In this role, you will:
Performs identity and access provisioning, authentication, and governance on AWS & Azure Cloud adhering to established guidelines. Analyzes and validates access needs and determines role ownership.
Assists in the configuration and implementation of identity and access systems and applications on the Cloud. Troubleshoots operational problems.
Conducts regular reviews on identity access authorization. Solves operational problems that have resulted in multiple incidents within operations to understand root cause and resolve the issues. Serves as a point of escalation for more junior team members in the resolution of access management requests or issues.
Creates documentation, including procedures, future state processes, white papers, security risks, technical assessments.
Identifies and recommends opportunities for continuous improvement. Supports the implementation of changes to processes and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
Minimum six years related work experience.
3-4 years of experience leading a team
AWS/Azure Cloud architect associate and AWS/Azure Security cert preferred.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

Proactively establish and cultivate collaborative partnerships with NVIDIA business leaders and partners (including C-level executives) to ensure security alignment, robust support for requirements, and enable future growth
Stay at the forefront of cyber threats and vulnerabilities, anticipating potential risks and driving proactive measures and updates to our strategy to safeguard the organization.
Engage in strategic partnerships with external collaborators, industry groups, and research organizations to stay informed about emerging security trends and technologies.

What We Need to See:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 10 overall years of progressive experience in cyber security, with at least 5 years in strategic leadership roles.
