Cloud Nine Con (CNC) is an interdisciplinary event which strives to include researchers from different fields connected to the topic of clouds. In that spirit, attending CNC should be a pleasant experience for everyone, regardless of the attendees’ race, color, religion, gender, gender identity and gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, or disability.

Some rules:

  • For discussions after the presentations: please be kind! Critique ideas, not people.

  • The CNC organizers do not tolerate harassment in any form, including sexist, racist, or other derogatory comments or jokes. Any inappropriate behavior that disrupts the meeting will not be accepted.

  • Sexual language and imagery is inappropriate for all interactions during the meeting, such as presentations and their discussion. This also holds for commenting on presentations and discussions via social media.

  • CNC participants who do not adhere to these rules will be asked to stop any inappropriate behavior. Such participants are expected to comply immediately. Otherwise they will be blocked from further attendance of CNC at the discretion of the organizers.
