Men's Clothing in Telangana

Men in Telangana traditionally wear dhoti (also called pancha), a long piece of cloth wrapped around the waist and legs, paired with a kurta or shirt. The dhoti is often made of cotton and is worn during religious ceremonies and festivals. For more formal occasions, men may wear a sherwani, which is a long coat-like garment. In daily life, many men also wear lungis or trousers with shirts, reflecting a blend of traditional and modern styles. During festivals, men often adorn themselves in more elaborate versions of these garments, sometimes with intricate embroidery.
