Cause: open window on desktop linked to the EFB power button caused the simulator to close upon pressing the EFB power button to turn it off. Aircraft did not make it to LAX; simulator crashed at 31000 ft MSL on the ANJLL4 arrival (HAKMN transition) at 12:07 PM EDT.
This IS NOT a plane crash.
