Privacy Policy for Clock
Effective Date: August 14, 2026
Last Updated: August 14, 2026
Clock is an Android application developed and published by AllNite Co. This Privacy Policy explains how Clock accesses, uses, stores, and handles information when you use the application.
Clock is designed with privacy in mind and operates offline. Clock does not require an account, does not display advertisements, does not contain analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not request Android's Internet permission.
Application name: Clock
Package name: com.mehclock.app
Developer: AllNite Co.
1. Data Collection
Clock does not collect or transmit personal information to AllNite Co. or third parties.
Clock does not collect or transmit information such as:
Your name
Email address
Phone number
Physical address
Precise or approximate location
Contacts
Photos, videos, or files
Messages or call history
Financial or payment information
Advertising identifiers
Device identifiers for tracking
Account credentials
Browsing activity
Clock does not require an account or sign-in.
2. Offline Operation
Clock does not request the Android INTERNET permission.
The core application operates locally on your device. Clock does not send your alarms, timers, stopwatch information, Focus information, preferences, or other app data to AllNite Co. or to external servers.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide its features, Clock stores certain information locally on your device. Depending on the features you use, this may include:
Alarm times, labels, schedules, and alarm settings
Timer information and preferences
Stopwatch state and related settings
Selected world clocks and cities
Clock appearance and theme preferences
Widget configuration and preferences
General application settings
Focus session duration and state
Focus-related application selections and preferences
This information is stored in Clock's private application storage using Android storage mechanisms such as DataStore and SharedPreferences.
This locally stored information is not transmitted by Clock to AllNite Co. or third parties.
4. Focus Mode and Usage Access
Clock includes an optional Focus Mode designed to help users remain on the Focus screen for a chosen period.
If you choose to grant Android Usage Access, Clock may inspect recent foreground-app activity to determine whether another application has come to the foreground while an active Focus session is running.
This access may include information such as the package name of the application that recently appeared in the foreground.
Clock uses this information only to support the Focus feature, including returning the user to the Focus screen when appropriate.
Foreground-app usage information:
Is accessed only when necessary for the Focus feature;
Is processed locally on your device;
Is not transmitted to AllNite Co.;
Is not transmitted to third parties;
Is not used for advertising;
Is not used for analytics;
Is not used to create a user profile; and
Is not sold.
Usage Access is optional and can be controlled through Android system settings.
5. Installed and Launchable Applications
As part of the Focus feature, Clock may query Android for applications on your device that have launchable activities.
This allows Clock to display application names for Focus-related configuration.
Information obtained for this purpose may include:
Application/package names; and
User-visible application labels.
Where selections or Focus preferences are saved, they are stored locally in Clock's private application storage.
Clock does not upload, transmit, sell, or share your application list or Focus selections with AllNite Co. or third parties.
This information is used exclusively to provide the Focus functionality.
6. Device Admin and Managed-Device Focus Features
Clock contains support for stricter Focus controls on compatible Android managed-device configurations.
Where Clock has been specifically configured with appropriate Android Device Owner or lock-task privileges, these features may be used to restrict navigation during an active Focus session, including lock-task functionality and supported system-interface restrictions.
These privileges are used only to implement the user-facing Focus functionality.
Clock does not use Device Admin or Device Owner capabilities to collect or transmit personal information.
Availability and behavior of these features depend on Android, device configuration, and device-management privileges.
7. Notifications
Clock may request permission to display notifications.
Notifications are used for features including:
Alarms
Timers
Stopwatch status
Focus sessions
Optional pre-alarm notices
Other time-sensitive Clock functionality
Notification permission is used solely to provide these application features.
Clock does not use notifications for advertising or behavioral tracking.
8. Exact Alarms and Full-Screen Alerts
Clock may use Android's exact-alarm and full-screen-intent capabilities to provide time-sensitive alarm and timer functionality.
These capabilities may be used to:
Schedule alarms at the requested time;
Notify you when a timer finishes;
Display a ringing alarm or timer screen when permitted by Android; and
Provide reliable time-sensitive alerts.
These capabilities are not used to collect or transmit personal information.
9. Wake Lock, Vibration, and Device Restart
Clock may use Android system capabilities including wake locks, vibration, and notification-related functionality so that alarms and timers can operate as expected.
Clock may also receive notification that the device has restarted. This allows Clock to restore relevant scheduled alarms or active functionality when appropriate.
These system capabilities are used only for application functionality and are not used for tracking or advertising.
10. Foreground Services
Clock may use Android foreground services for active functionality such as:
Alarm or timer ringing;
Active Focus sessions; and
A running stopwatch with an ongoing notification.
Foreground services allow these user-initiated features to continue functioning when Clock is not currently displayed on screen.
They are not used to transmit personal information or perform advertising or analytics.
11. Location
Clock does not request access to your device's location.
World Clock functionality does not require Clock to collect your GPS or physical location.
12. Advertising
Clock contains no advertisements.
Clock does not integrate advertising SDKs and does not use personal or device information for advertising purposes.
13. Analytics and Tracking
Clock does not include analytics, behavioral tracking, or advertising tracking SDKs.
AllNite Co. does not use Clock to build behavioral profiles of users or monitor their activity for marketing purposes.
14. Accounts
Clock does not provide or require user accounts.
There is no registration, account login, or cloud account associated with use of Clock.
Because Clock does not create user accounts or maintain account data on AllNite Co. servers, there is no server-side account data to delete.
15. Third-Party Sharing
Clock does not sell, rent, transmit, or share personal or sensitive user information with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties.
Clock's application functionality relies on Android platform functionality and AndroidX software components, but Clock does not intentionally transmit user information to AllNite Co. or third-party servers.
Your Android operating system and device manufacturer may independently process information as part of normal system functionality. Their practices are governed by their own respective privacy policies.
16. Data Security
Clock is designed to minimize privacy risks by keeping application data on the user's device rather than transmitting it to AllNite Co. servers.
Application settings and feature data are stored within Android's application-specific storage and are subject to Android's application sandbox and device security protections.
Because Clock does not operate an online user-data service, AllNite Co. does not maintain a remote database containing Clock users' alarm, timer, Focus, stopwatch, or preference information.
Users should maintain appropriate security protections on their own devices.
17. Data Retention
Locally stored information may remain on your device for as long as necessary to maintain your Clock settings and features.
For example, saved alarms, preferences, world-clock selections, widget settings, and certain Focus preferences may remain until you modify or remove them or delete Clock's application data.
Active or temporary feature states may be removed or replaced when the relevant feature or session ends.
AllNite Co. does not maintain server-side copies of this locally stored information.
18. Data Deletion
Because Clock stores its application information locally, you remain in control of that information.
Depending on the feature, information can be removed by changing or deleting the relevant item within Clock.
You may also remove locally stored Clock data through Android's application settings by clearing Clock's application storage.
Uninstalling Clock will remove Clock's locally stored application data according to Android's normal application-uninstallation process.
Permissions and special access granted to Clock can also be reviewed or revoked through your device's Android settings.
Because Clock does not maintain user accounts or a remote user database, there is no corresponding Clock account or cloud-stored personal information held by AllNite Co. that requires a separate deletion request.
19. Permissions and User Control
Some Clock features require Android permissions or special system access.
Clock requests or directs users to these permissions only when they are relevant to the associated feature.
Depending on your Android version and device, these may include access related to:
Notifications
Exact alarms
Full-screen alarm alerts
Usage Access for optional Focus functionality
Foreground services
Wake functionality
Vibration
Restart restoration
Managed-device or lock-task Focus functionality
You can review or revoke applicable permissions through Android system settings. Some Clock features may not function fully when their required permission or system access is disabled.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
AllNite Co. may update this Privacy Policy when Clock's features, data practices, legal obligations, or Google Play requirements change.
When this policy is updated, the Last Updated date at the top of this page will be revised.
If a future version of Clock introduces data collection, online services, advertising, analytics, accounts, or other significant changes to its data practices, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
