Clock Cup Season 3 Qualification is now open until December 4th 11:59 PM EST!
General Rules:
All competitors must compete with good intentions/spirits.
Any disputes will be resolved by the organizer/judge with decisions based on the existing rules and background context.
All competitors are requested to use a clock cover or any sort of covering that fully blocks both faces.
Cheating with evident proof will result in a complete disqualification.
Qualification Rules:
As a prerequisite, all competitors must have a valid WCA ID before competing.
A stackmat timer must be used to attempt your solves. The use of keyboard timers, phone timers, or any other equivalents to time your solve will disqualify you from qualifying, unless there was explicit prior approval beforehand (see rule 7).
All solves must be recorded and submitted to the form linked.
The scrambles should only be attempted once on camera.
Recordings must be a full length, uncut video that is accessible to the organizer.
In the event where there are issues with the recording, these issues should be addressed to the organizer immediately. Extra solves may be provided in certain cases and competitors will be informed with future instructions on recording.
In the case where there must be some accommodations made, they should be addressed to the organizer (maxbucko on discord).
Wherever applicable, all competitors must adhere to the WCA regulations.
Competitors are strongly requested to time inspection with a stopwatch or cubing.net/inspection.
If there are any problems or concerns about a competitor's solves, they will be addressed personally by the organizer in private.
Match Rules:
All competitors must have a stackmat timer and a webcam that clearly displays the solves on stream.
Competitors must compete with the intention to finish the round. If competitors intentionally do not complete their solves or if they prevent other competitors from fairly completing their solves, then they will be disqualified from the tournament and the other competitor will automatically win the match.
Standard WCA rules apply wherever applicable.
Inspection time will not be called, so it is highly recommended competitors should time their own solves.
In the case where accommodations must be made, they should be addressed to the organizer before the match starts.
If the competitor cannot make it to a match that they already agreed to, the other competitor will receive an automatic 15-0 win, granted they show up at the scheduled time.
