Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 6, 2026
Simple Alarm Clock & Time (“the App”) is developed and published by SwiftCore Apps. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android app, which provides smart alarm clock, clocks, and time tools features including alarms.
We design the App to minimize data collection. You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use the core features. Alarm data and settings are stored locally on your device.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Simple Alarm Clock & Time Android application. It describes the types of information we and our third-party partners may collect, how it is used, and your rights and choices. We comply with applicable laws including GDPR (for EU users), CCPA/CPRA (for California residents), and CalOPPA.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.
We do not collect any personal data directly through the App. Alarm times, repeat settings, snooze preferences, and other user-created content are stored locally on your device using Room database and DataStore. This data never leaves your device through our application unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it (such as backups, which are not enabled by default).
The App may request certain Android permissions (detailed below) to function properly. Any data processed by third-party services integrated in the App is handled according to their own policies.
For users in the European Economic Area, our processing relies on:
Performance of a contract — to provide the alarm and time features you request.
Legitimate interests — to improve the App, ensure reliability of alarms, display relevant ads, and fix crashes.
Legal obligations — to comply with applicable laws.
Consent — where required (for example, for certain personalized advertising or analytics). You can withdraw consent at any time through device settings or by uninstalling the App.
The App requests the following permissions only for the purposes listed. You can manage or revoke them in your device settings at any time.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — To display alarm notifications and alerts.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_EXACT_ALARM, and related alarm permissions — To schedule and trigger alarms at the exact times you set, even when the device is idle or in Doze mode.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — To restore your alarms automatically after the device reboots.
USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT — To show full-screen alarm UI when an alarm rings.
VIBRATE — To provide vibration feedback during alarms.
WAKE_LOCK — To wake the device and ensure alarms trigger reliably.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE — To run reliable foreground services for alarms and stopwatch functionality with persistent notifications.
REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS — To request exemption from battery optimization so alarms are not delayed or missed.
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — For features such as in-app updates, serving advertisements, and connecting to services like Firebase and AdMob.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW — To display content over other apps when necessary for alarm functionality.
READ_PHONE_STATE — To detect incoming calls and potentially pause or adjust alarm behavior respectfully.
These permissions ensure core functionality like reliable alarms. The App respects your choices and only uses permissions when needed.
All user-created alarm data is stored locally on your device. We do not upload it to our servers. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by the App. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of local device storage.
The App uses the following third-party libraries and services. Each has its own privacy practices:
AndroidX Libraries (various modules) — Core Android development tools for UI, compatibility, and functionality. Android Open Source Project.
Room Database — Local storage of alarm data on your device.
Koin — Dependency injection for clean app architecture.
DataStore — Secure local storage of preferences.
Navigation Components, Lottie, FastScroll, Number Picker, EventBus, Gson — UI, animations, and utility libraries.
SDP & SSP — For responsive UI across different screen sizes.
Google Play In-App Updates — To check and install updates seamlessly.
Dexter — Simplifies permission handling.
Lifecycle Extensions — Helps manage app lifecycle responsibly.
Google User Messaging Platform — Manages consent for personalized ads (GDPR and similar regulations).
Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging via Firebase BoM):
Provides crash reporting, usage analytics, and push notifications. Firebase may collect device information, usage data, and crash logs.

We encourage you to review these third-party policies.
The App shows ads via AdMob and Facebook Audience Network. These services may use device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to show relevant advertisements and measure performance.
Firebase Analytics helps us understand how the App is used so we can improve it. Crashlytics collects crash information to fix bugs. Microsoft Clarity analyzes interactions anonymously to enhance user experience.
You can manage ad personalization through device settings or the consent management tools provided in the App (via Google User Messaging Platform).
The App does not use traditional web cookies. Third-party SDKs (ads and analytics) may use device identifiers, advertising IDs, or similar technologies. You can reset your advertising ID in device settings.
The App itself processes minimal data locally. Third-party services may process:
Device information (model, OS version)
Usage data and interactions
Crash logs and performance data
Advertising identifiers
This data helps deliver ads, improve stability, and provide reliable alarm functionality.
Local alarm data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Third-party services retain data according to their own policies (see links above). Uninstalling the App removes all local data associated with it.
The App offers in-app purchases and subscriptions. All payments are handled securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or process your payment details such as credit card information.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
You continue to enjoy premium features until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.
Google may share limited non-personal information (such as subscription status) with us to unlock features.
Refunds and cancellations are handled through Google Play according to their rules.
We do not share your purchase information with third parties except as required for payment processing.
All in-app purchases follow Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
You have the right to:
Access the data we (or third parties on our behalf) hold about you
Rectify inaccurate data
Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”)
Restrict or object to processing
Data portability (where applicable)
Withdraw consent
To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
California residents have rights to:
Know what personal information is collected and shared
Delete personal information
Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
Non-discrimination for exercising rights
Contact us to exercise these rights.
Our App does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browsers as it is a native Android application. You can manage tracking preferences through device advertising and permission settings.
Some third-party services (Google, Meta, Microsoft) may transfer data to servers outside your country, including the United States. These companies use standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms to protect data.
We do not engage in or support malware distribution, unauthorized network access, or any harmful activities. The App is designed only for legitimate alarm and time functions.
The App may contain links to external sites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
The App does not target or attract children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have such data, contact us immediately.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in response to valid legal requests.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The “Last Updated” date will change. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
