CleanSpace (“CleanSpace”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our app handles information when you use storage cleanup, file review, app management, screenshot cleanup, network activity view, and related device maintenance features.
1. Who We Are
CleanSpace is a storage management and cleanup application for Android devices. The app is designed to help users review removable cache, large files, screenshots, installed apps, and network activity information before deciding what to clean or manage.
2. Information We Process
CleanSpace mainly works with information stored locally on your device. Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the app may process the following types of information:
Local storage information, such as file names, file sizes, file paths, file types, cache-related items, screenshots, temporary files, and large file details.
Installed application information, such as app names, package names, storage usage information, and uninstall availability.
Device and system information, such as Android version, device model, app version, language settings, and basic performance information.
Network activity information, such as current or recent data activity shown to help users understand device network usage.
Diagnostic information, such as crash logs, error reports, performance data, and app stability information, if such tools are integrated.
3. Permissions and Device Access
CleanSpace may request certain permissions only to support the features shown inside the app.
Storage access may be used to scan, display, review, and clean selected files, cache-related items, screenshots, and other removable storage items.
App usage or package-related access may be used to display installed apps and related storage information for app management features.
Foreground service access may be used to keep visible utility functions active, including network activity information shown in the notification area and quick access shortcuts for cleanup tools.
Notification access, if requested, may be used to display visible service status, utility shortcuts, or cleanup-related reminders. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.
CleanSpace does not use these permissions to secretly collect personal content, monitor users without notice, or upload private files to external servers.
4. How We Use Information
We use information only for the purposes required to operate and improve CleanSpace, including:
To scan and display removable cache and storage items.
To help you review large files, screenshots, and installed apps.
To allow you to confirm cleanup or uninstall actions before they are performed.
To show network activity information in a visible and user-facing way.
To maintain app stability, fix bugs, and improve performance.
To comply with legal, security, and platform policy requirements.
5. Local Processing
Most cleanup and storage management operations are performed locally on your device. CleanSpace does not upload your personal files, photos, videos, screenshots, app list, or cleaned content to our servers for the purpose of providing cleanup features.
When you delete files or uninstall apps through CleanSpace, the action is initiated by you and processed on your device according to Android system behavior.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal files for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.
Information may be shared only in limited situations:
With service providers that help us operate analytics, crash reporting, security, or app performance services, if such services are used.
When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
To protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the app, or others.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets, subject to reasonable privacy protections.
7. Third-Party Services
CleanSpace may use third-party services such as analytics, crash reporting, app distribution, advertising, or cloud-based diagnostic tools. These services may collect limited device, usage, or diagnostic information according to their own privacy policies.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services used in the app. CleanSpace does not control how third-party providers process information outside our app.
8. Data Retention
CleanSpace keeps information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Local files, screenshots, cache items, and app information remain on your device unless you choose to delete or manage them. Diagnostic or analytics information, if collected by third-party services, may be retained according to those providers’ policies.
9. Your Choices and Controls
You can control CleanSpace’s access and features in several ways:
You can grant or deny permissions through Android system settings.
You can stop using a feature that requires a permission.
You can clear app data or uninstall CleanSpace from your device.
You can manage notification visibility and foreground service notifications in system settings.
You can choose which files, screenshots, cache items, or apps to clean or remove before confirming an action.
10. Children’s Privacy
CleanSpace is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the app. However, no application, device, transmission method, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should review cleanup actions carefully before confirming file removal or app uninstallation.
12. International Data Transfers
If third-party services are used, information such as diagnostics or analytics data may be processed in countries or regions outside your location. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards to protect such information.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of CleanSpace after an update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
