These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CleanRoute: File Cleaner and related services (collectively, the "App" or "Services"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Description of Services
CleanRoute provides Android storage cleanup and device utility features, including cache cleanup, large file management, screenshot cleanup, app management, network activity display, and foreground notification utilities. Feature availability may depend on your device, Android version, granted permissions, and local storage conditions.
4. User-Controlled Cleanup
CleanRoute is intended to help you manage storage and related device information. You are responsible for reviewing files, screenshots, apps, and other items before confirming deletion, cleanup, or uninstallation.
The App may identify items that appear removable, temporary, unused, or space-consuming, but we do not guarantee that every displayed item is unnecessary for your specific needs. You should back up important files before deleting content or uninstalling apps.
5. Local Files and Device Content
You are responsible for the files and apps stored on your device and for any decisions you make while using the Services. CleanRoute does not own your local files, screenshots, apps, or device content. Actions you confirm, including file deletion or app uninstallation, may not be reversible.
6. Permissions
Certain features require device permissions, such as storage access, installed app information access, network-related access, notification access, or foreground service capabilities. You may grant or deny permissions through your device settings. If required permissions are denied or revoked, some features may not work properly.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- use the Services in violation of any law, regulation, platform rule, or third-party right
- misuse the Services to damage, disrupt, or interfere with devices, networks, or services
- attempt to bypass security features or permission controls
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works from the App except where allowed by law
- use the Services to access, delete, or manage content that you do not have the right to control
- misrepresent your relationship with us or use the Services for fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes
8. No Professional Advice
The Services provide device cleanup and utility functions only. The App does not provide legal, security, technical repair, or professional data recovery advice. You are responsible for deciding whether an item should be removed, kept, or backed up.
9. Third-Party Services
The Services may include or rely on third-party SDKs, platforms, advertisements, analytics, crash reporting, or other services. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Ownership
The App, including its software, design, features, text, graphics, trademarks, logos, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
11. Updates and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time. Updates may add, change, or remove features. Some changes may be required for security, compatibility, platform policy, or operational reasons.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, AND THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FULLY SECURE.
We do not guarantee that the App will identify every removable file, free a specific amount of storage, improve device performance, or prevent data loss. Cleanup results depend on your device, files, permissions, and user choices.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, FILES, CONTENT, PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR DEVICE FUNCTIONALITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES.
Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or the Services, or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time.
16. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction determined by us, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your location may still apply.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
