Assistant Professor, Ecole Polytechnique
Chemistry Department & Physics Department
Hi! I am Clément Livache. I recently joined Ecole Polytechnique and Institut Polytechnique de Paris to develop new activities around semiconductor nanocrystal chemistry, optoelectronics and spectroscopy.
I used to work in Dr. Klimov's group at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where I now am Visiting Scientist.
I'm using ultrafast spectroscopy to probe optical and electrical properties of nanoscale semiconductor particles, with applications in energy production, advanced light sources and quantum technologies.
I received my PhD from Sorbonne University (Paris) in 2019. I was working in Dr. Lhuillier's group, using mercury-based colloidal nanocrystals to build a new generation of infrared photodetectors. This work was in collaboration with ESPCI Paris quantum dot lab.
