# ClipPack Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026
ClipPack is designed as a local creator export tool. You choose videos from Photos or Files, then the app prepares cover images, compressed videos, AI-assisted publishing drafts, and delivery briefs.
## Data You Provide
ClipPack may process the following information when you use the app:
- Videos and files you explicitly import.
- Export settings, cover selections, publishing draft text, and generated history records.
- Photos access only through the Apple system picker or save/share actions you choose.
## How Data Is Used
ClipPack uses imported content and local app data to:
- Read video metadata such as duration, resolution, codec, and file size.
- Score frame candidates and help you select a cover frame.
- Render cover JPG files, compress MP4 files, and create delivery briefs.
- Prepare local publishing suggestions such as hooks, captions, hashtags, checklists, and export notes.
- Maintain local export history so you can review, save, or share previous packages.
## Local Processing
Imported videos are processed on device in the app sandbox. ClipPack does not upload your videos to a server as part of the current app workflow.
When Apple Foundation Models are available, publishing suggestions are generated on device. When they are unavailable, ClipPack uses local rules based on metadata, export settings, and frame scoring.
## Sharing And Saving
Generated MP4, JPG, and TXT files remain in the app sandbox until you save them to Photos or share them with another app. Once you share or save a file, the destination app or service handles that file according to its own policies.
## Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by the App Store. ClipPack does not receive or store your full payment card information.
## Advertising Attribution
ClipPack may request App Tracking Transparency permission so advertising campaign performance can be measured and traffic acquisition can be optimized. This is used only for attribution and campaign optimization. Imported videos, cover images, publishing drafts, generated exports, and local history are not associated with advertising profiles or linked to advertising data.
You can decline this permission. Core export, cover, compression, and publishing-kit features continue to work without tracking permission.
## Third Parties
The current app workflow does not include server-side video processing. If third-party attribution or advertising services are used, they should be limited to campaign measurement and optimization and should not receive imported videos, generated creator assets, publishing drafts, or local history.
## Retention And Deletion
Imported files, generated exports, draft text, and history records may remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or remove the app. You can delete export history from inside the app. You can also remove the app from your device to delete its local sandbox data.
## Permissions
Photos, Files, and App Tracking Transparency access are controlled by Apple system interfaces. You can change app permissions in iOS Settings.
## Children
ClipPack is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
## Changes
This policy may be updated when the app changes. The effective date above should be updated when a new version of this policy is published.
