EPTX Group ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This comprehensive Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use the VideoX mobile application (the "App").
By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
To access premium features (such as Premium or Ultra tiers) and synchronize your subscription status across devices, you may choose to authenticate via Google OAuth (Google Sign-In).
Data Collected: When you sign in, we collect basic profile information strictly limited to your Name and Email Address.
Purpose: This data is used solely to identify your account, verify your identity, and restore your in-app purchases. We do not use your email for marketing unless you explicitly opt-in.
We take the privacy of your creative projects extremely seriously.
Local Storage (Strictly Offline): The vast majority of the App's editing tools, including AI background removal and image adjustments, operate entirely offline on your device's hardware. Your videos, images, and audio files remain safely stored locally on your device. We do not host, view, or have access to your private projects.
Secure Cloud Processing (Auto Captions): If you utilize our "Auto Captions" feature, the audio track (and only the audio track) of your video is securely transmitted to our proprietary, self-hosted data center for transcription.
No Third-Party AI APIs: We own this infrastructure. Your audio is never sent to OpenAI, Google Cloud, or any other third-party API.
Zero Retention: Once the transcription is generated, the temporary audio data is immediately and permanently deleted from our servers.
No AI Training: We never use your media, audio, or transcripts to train AI models.
Text-to-Speech: Audio generated via Text-to-Speech is processed temporarily and stored locally on your device.
To function properly, the App requires specific device permissions:
Storage/Photos (Read/Write): Required to import media into your projects and export your finished videos back to your gallery. We do not access files outside of the ones you explicitly select within the App.
We automatically collect certain technical data to maintain App stability and provide free services:
App Usage & Diagnostic Data: We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymous data regarding app crashes, performance metrics, and feature usage. This helps us identify bugs and improve the App.
Advertising IDs: If you use the free version of the App, we use Google AdMob to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID (e.g., Google Ad ID) and IP address.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To provide, operate, and maintain the App's core editing features.
To securely verify your identity and manage your subscription status (Pro/Ultra).
To process audio for the Auto Captions feature (which is immediately deleted).
To analyze app stability, fix bugs, and improve overall performance.
To serve relevant advertisements (for non-premium users).
To respond to your customer support inquiries.
All financial transactions, including in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions, are handled securely and directly by the Google Play Store (and/or Apple App Store).
No Financial Data Stored: EPTX Group does not collect, process, or store your credit card numbers, banking information, or billing address. We only receive a secure token confirming your subscription status.
We utilize trusted third-party service providers to facilitate our App. These providers have access to your data only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. These services include:
Google OAuth: For secure user authentication.
Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics): For crash reporting and anonymous usage statistics.
Google AdMob: For delivering advertisements.
Google Play Services / Apple App Store: For managing subscriptions and payments.
Each of these services operates under their respective Privacy Policies.
Account Data: We retain your account data (Name, Email) only for as long as you maintain an active account. You may request the permanent deletion of your account and associated data directly within the App settings or by contacting us at our support email.
Local Data: You have full control over the videos and projects on your device. Deleting the App from your device will permanently remove all local projects and associated data.
Cloud Data: As stated, Auto Captions audio data is deleted instantly after processing.
Depending on your location (such as the European Economic Area or California), you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
The Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
The Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
CCPA "Do Not Sell": We do not "sell" your personal information for monetary value. However, the sharing of advertising IDs with AdMob may be considered a "sale" or "share" under California law. You may opt-out of personalized advertising through your device's system settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take immediate steps to remove that information from our servers.
We implement robust, industry-standard security measures (including SSL encryption for data in transit) to protect your personal information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or our data practices. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
