This Privacy Policy explains how VideoX ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide (Account Data) If you choose to sign in (e.g., via Google Sign-In) to sync your Premium/Ultra status:
We collect basic profile information such as your Email Address and Name.
This data is managed via Firebase Authentication and is used solely to identify your account and restore your purchases.
B. User Content
Local Storage: Videos, images, and audio files you import or edit remain stored locally on your device. We do not upload your media to our servers.
Generated Content: Audio generated via Text-to-Speech is processed temporarily and stored locally on your device.
C. Device Permissions To function, the app requires access to:
Storage/Photos: To read and write video files.
D. Automated Data Collection
App Usage Data: Anonymous analytics (via Firebase Crashlytics/Analytics) to help us identify crashes and improve performance.
2. How We Use Information
To provide editing tools and features.
To verify your subscription status (Pro/Ultra).
To analyze app stability and fix bugs.
3. Subscription & Payments
All financial transactions (subscriptions) are handled directly by the Google Play Store.
We do not process or store your credit card or banking information.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Account Data: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data directly within the app settings or by contacting us.
Local Data: You have full control over the videos on your device. Deleting the app will remove all local projects.
5. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services which have their own privacy policies:
Google Firebase (Auth, Analytics, Crashlytics)
Google AdMob (Advertising)
Google Play Services (Payments)
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
7. Limitation of Liability & User Responsibility
Copyright: You are solely responsible for the content you create. You agree not to use copyrighted music or video without permission.
No Warranty: VideoX is provided "as is". We are not responsible for any data loss, corrupted files, or issues arising from the use of the app.
