Terms of Use (ClipDock Translate)

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of ClipDock Translate for macOS (“App”).

By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or internal lawful purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

- Use the App in violation of any law or third-party rights.

- Attempt to disrupt, abuse, probe, or reverse-engineer service infrastructure beyond what law permits.

- Use the App to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

Translation and AI output disclaimer

The App may provide translations or AI-assisted outputs that can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.

You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.

Some features require internet access.

Screenshot text capture may require Screen Recording permission.

Voice input may require Microphone and Speech Recognition permission.

Do not rely on output for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other high-risk decisions.

Third-party services

Some App features may depend on third-party providers, including Google and OpenAI.

Your use of those features is also subject to applicable third-party terms and policies.

Subscriptions and billing

If premium subscriptions are offered:

- Billing is handled by Apple through your Apple ID.

- Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled before renewal.

- You can manage/cancel in Apple Account settings.

- Pricing, trial terms (if any), and renewal details are shown by Apple before purchase.

Intellectual property

The App, including its code, design, and branding (excluding third-party components), is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law or written permission.

Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time, including features or integrations, to improve quality, security, or compliance.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits/data/business arising from use of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to App features if these Terms are violated or required by law/security reasons.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in your jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The “Effective date” will indicate the latest version.
