County Projects

Members will exhibit one completed model tractor and a notebook. They will also participate in a model tractor pulling contest at the County Fair. 

This project encourages 4-H members to keep accurate records of their previous 4-H projects, offices held, activities and any other awards, and memorabilia. 

Study the fundamentals of grilling and safety techniques. 

Choose any type of article you desire to collect suitable for your division and interest. Each collection should be submitted with a collector's record. 

These projects are designed to provide information, training and experience to 4-H club members on important aspects of agriculture such as hybrids, soils, weather, insecticides, pesticides, fertilizer, etc.

You'll prepare a farm layout with various requirements suitable for your age and division along with a written description. 

Members will prepare packages based around a central theme and judged on neatness and creativity. 

Members will have the opportunity to construct an original design based on the division requirements. 

Members will learn basic food preparation techniques for using the microwave. In the advanced divisions, members will learn how to convert recipes and prepare dishes for the entire meal. 

The purpose of this project is to allow youth to showcase talents in different areas of the Arts. 

Members will learn the importance and basic concepts of recycling to help the environment. 

This project allows you to preserve your memories in an organized and creative way. All levels should follow the layout, cropping, and journaling guidelines. 

Members will exhibit an educational poster instead of your small critter. It should demonstrate what was learned and provide viewers with educational information. 

Members will report on what you did and learned about a sport displayed in a folder or notebook with pictures and historical information about the sport. 

Members have the opportunity to have a small strawberry patch and increase acreage based on their level. 

This project allows you to exhibit any wearable item created from items other than fabric, such as duct tape, ties, etc. or apply a design to a ready-made item. 

Members will learn about welding safety equipment, types of welders, types of welding rods, uses of welding, and careers associated with welding.
