I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Centre for Biomedical Ethics at the National University of Singapore. Prior to that, I completed a PhD in philosophy at the University of Kansas.
My dissertation research focused on artifact functions and their relation to functions elsewhere in the philosophy of science (esp. biology and social science). My present research focuses on the ethics of AI and behavioral change techniques (such as nudging) in medicine.
I am also interested in privacy, feminist philosophy, and environmental ethics.
