Hearing these words gave me tears and completely melted my heart.

On the other hand, that made me realize how life can suddenly change and how it can tear apart ANY happy family in a matter of seconds. Luckily for me, the doctor told me that I was okay, at least for the moment.

The reason I passed out, was because my blood sugar was so high at 240mg/dL when they brought me to the hospital.

That turned out to be dangerously high and until they explained to me what might have happened, I didn’t realize the gravity of the possible consequences.

The thing that shocked me the most was that, as you probably know, Diabetes or high blood sugar is also known as the “SILENT KILLER”

That is because it takes normal lives by surprise.

Having no certain symptoms, it can take you down to the ground, leaving you unconscious and unable to breathe without even knowing that you have this disorder…
