Call for Papers
We are pleased to invite submissions for the Symposium on Financial Markets in the Era of Climate Change, to be held at IE University in Madrid. This event will take place immediately following the 32nd Spanish Finance Association Finance Forum, offering a unique opportunity for researchers to extend their stay and participate in further academic discussions.
The symposium aims to bring together leading scholars to explore the profound effects of climate change and technological advancements on financial markets. We welcome both empirical and theoretical contributions on (but not limited to) the following topics :
Climate risks
Green financial products /securities
Sustainable investing
Corporate green strategy
Environmental externalities
Climate-related regulation
We are delighted to announce that Caroline Flammer and Xavier Giroud from Columbia University will serve as keynote speakers.
Submission Guidelines:
Please submit full papers to elaine.zhang@ie.edu by April 30, 2025. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by May 10, 2025. A Best Discussant Award of €1,000 will be presented. Up to two nights of accommodation will be provided for presenters.
