Our mission was to educate middle school students on climate change and facilitate a meaningful connection with nature. We supported students in interdisciplinary education on climate science, microclimates, phenology, and climate justice through a series of educational field trips to H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest. We aimed to provide the next generation with the skills, knowledge, and motivation to address and act on current and future environmental issues.
