Mark Johnson teaches photojournalism, multimedia journalism, video journalism and graphic design courses in addition to serving as the college’s Chief Technology Officer. He developed the college’s first dedicated online news site and runs VisualJournalism.info.
Daniel Rochberg is a professor in the Department of Environmental Health at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and the Department of Environmental Science at Emory College. Professor Rochberg is a climate change and sustainable development policy expert with 15+ years of experience working in government, the United Nations, and academia. He is the chief strategy officer for the Climate@Emory initiative and is a founding member of the Georgia Climate Project.
Jill is Public Service faculty at the University of Georgia, serving as the Coastal Community Resilience Specialist for UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant. She is well-versed in coastal hazards and resilience research and integral to the Georgia Climate Stories Project.
Rachel Usher is the Project Manager for the Georgia Climate Project and the Emory Climate and Health Research Incubator. In 2020, she graduated with a Master’s in Public Health in the Department of Epidemiology at the Emory Rollins School of Public Health. She was awarded University of New Hampshire Sustainability Fellowship in 2019 to examine health benefits of climate change mitigation activities with the Vermont Department of Health. Previously, Rachel received her Bachelor of Science in Ecology from the Odum School of Ecology at the University of Georgia in 2016. A life-long Southerner, she is proud to be a part of climate change research and action across the United States.
Colton is a MPH candidate in the Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health with a focus on Global Environmental Health. In 2019, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in public health and Spanish from Saint Louis University in Missouri. Colton has worked as a graduate research assistant for GCP since the Fall of 2019 with prior research experience in sustainable agriculture.
