CLIMATE IMPACT MODELING OF ATMOSPHERIC AND TERRESTRIAL HYDROLOGY
Welcome to CLIMATE-HY - Advancing Climate-Hydrology Research and Insights
CLIMATE–HY is a climate–hydrology research initiative focused on understanding climate variability, hydroclimatic teleconnection, and their influence on the terrestrial water balance. Advanced machine learning methods and nonlinear modeling approaches are applied to capture memory effects, lagged responses, and complex dependencies among hydroclimatic variables.
To advance climate hydrology science by integrating hydroclimatic extremes, water-balance processes, and statistical and data-driven modeling approaches to improve understanding of climate variability, teleconnections, and extreme events across natural and human-dominated systems.
To enable resilient water, ecosystem, and urban systems through improved understanding of hydroclimatic variability, water-cycle dynamics, and compound climate extremes, supporting science-based adaptation and sustainable resource management.
