Research Assistants

The CCR Project began by providing opportunities to undergraduate students at MacEwan and graduate students at the University of Alberta to conduct short research reports (see list of publications).

The most recent line of research continues to employ student research assistants to collect and analyze data, as well as to write research reports and develop other methods to share results (infographics, data visualizations, videos).

Stephanie Belland (Honours student, Psychology, MacEwan University) is involved in writing papers related to the 2019 Canadian election study on climate change.

Nikita Sleptcov (PhD student, Political Science, University of Alberta) is involved in analyzing survey data from the 2019 Canadian election study on climate change as well as pilot testing the coding of Instagram posts from six political leaders.

Kelsey Friesen (BA Honours, Sociology, MacEwan University) is involved in translating and coding social media posts from six political leaders for the 2019 Canadian election study on climate change.
