5.2 Third-Party Disclosure: We may share your data with third parties only in the ways described in this Privacy Statement. We may disclose your data:
(a) As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.
(b) When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
(c) With our trusted service providers (such as hosting or backup services) who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the data we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
(d) With third-party advertising networks and analytics companies as described below.
5.3 Advertising Partners: We work with advertisers and third-party advertising companies (such as AdMob) to keep Clicky free of charge. These partners may collect and use data about how you interact with advertising and content provided in the App.
They use the Advertising Identifier assigned to your device (GAID) to serve ads targeted to your interests.
These third parties may also obtain anonymous data about other applications you have downloaded, the websites you visit, and your general location to analyze user behavior and serve relevant advertising.
We do not pass any directly identifiable personal data (like your name or email) to ad networks or advertisers.
5.4 Analytics Providers: We work with analytics companies (such as Google Analytics for Firebase) to help us understand how the App is being used, including the frequency of use and the duration of sessions. This helps us optimize performance and fix bugs.
5.5 Location-Based Advertising: If you have enabled 'Location' permissions in your device settings, we may share localized data with our ad network partners to provide you with tailored advertisements based on your general area.
5.6 Premium/Paid Versions: Any paid versions of Clicky generally do not contain third-party advertising. In these versions, while basic diagnostic data may still be collected for app performance, it will not be used to serve interest-based advertisements.
6. Managing Your Data
6.1 Uninstallation: You can stop all collection of data by the App easily by uninstalling the App. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your device or via the Google Play Store.
6.2 Location Permissions: You may at any time opt-out from further allowing the App to have access to your precise location data by deactivating the ‘Location’ permission in the system privacy settings on your device.
6.3 Advertising Identifiers (GAID): Android devices provide a Google Advertising ID (GAID). This identifier allows you to control how your data is used for interest-based advertising. You can:
Reset your identifier: In your device settings, you can generate a new advertising ID.
Opt-out of interest-based ads: Navigate to your Android device settings (usually under Settings > Google > Ads) and enable the option to "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete Advertising ID." This will stop our advertising partners (AdMob) from serving targeted ads based on your cross-app behavior.
6.4 Accessibility Service Management: Because Clicky relies on the AccessibilityService API, you have complete control over this permission. You can enable or disable the service at any time by navigating to Settings > Accessibility > Clicky. Note that disabling this service will prevent the app from performing automated taps and swipes.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
7.1 Definition: Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are typically sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.
7.2 Usage in Clicky: This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly within its native code. However, the app integrates third-party code and libraries (such as AdMob or Google Analytics) that may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to collect information, serve personalized advertisements, and improve their services.
7.3 User Control: You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies through your device's browser settings or by managing your Google Ads settings. Please note that if you choose to refuse these cookies, you may not be able to use certain portions of this Service or see relevant advertisements.
8. Service Providers & Application Permissions
To provide our automation services, Clicky requires specific system permissions. We are committed to using these rights only for the purpose of serving the app's functions and fully complying with Google Play policies.
The following permissions are used by the App:
android.permission.INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required for app functionality, loading advertisements (AdMob), and sending crash reports (Firebase/Google Analytics).
android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display Overlay): This is a critical permission that allows the app to show the floating control panel on top of other applications so you can start, stop, and configure clicks.
android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: Used to ensure the auto-clicking service remains active and reliable while you are using other apps. The Special Use type is specifically required to maintain the persistent automation engine and the floating widget's responsiveness.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to display a persistent notification while the auto-clicker is running, providing you with a quick way to manage or stop the service.
android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Allows the app to trigger automation scripts or stop the service at a precise time defined by the user.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Allows the app to restore certain user-defined settings or notifications after your device restarts.
android.permission.VIBRATE: Provides haptic feedback when a click is registered or when the user interacts with the control panel.
Important Data Commitments:
Local Storage: All automation scripts and configurations provided by users are stored strictly on their device. We do not collect or store this data on our servers.
Sensitive Information: We do not disclose, store, or share any sensitive user information (such as passwords, bank accounts, or private messages).
Third-Party Access: We may employ third-party companies (e.g., Google) to facilitate our service or analyze app usage. These third parties have access to non-sensitive "Log Data" to perform tasks on our behalf and are legally obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
9. Security
I value your trust in providing us access to your device's automation capabilities.
