On a Windows PC, plugging in a ClickShare Button into a Windows laptop for the first time will trigger Windows to download the ClickShare windows driver from the Windows update store (precondition: laptop must be connected to the internet). Once the Windows Driver is installed the ClickShare App will be able to autostart once the button is plugged in. For detailed information see ClickShare Windows Driver - Important notes.
Brilliant! your PS script helped. The only possibility that has helped me in the last few weeks and months was a long-lasting Windows inplace update. According to your script, the start button works and after a reboot also the search field. Thanks a lot. Small note: we do not use clickshare. We had a problem with HTML mails in combination with Kerio Connector with the last Outlook365 v2205. (This has since been fixed by Kerio/GFI). That only as a tip in the direction of the MAPI interface.

i have been actively working with Microsoft on this issue as we have 300+ machines a day breaking. and only have a hand full of users. with clickshare installed. It has been a painfull few months. I was just told today about the bug report finally being opened. i am concerned about how it might be deployed since this is a Click-to-run issue.
Great work thank you! We struggle with this problem a few Month already and the only workarround we had was Wipe or re-profiling! We normaly not using clickshare so the API used by some wierd app looks like the plausiblest way to mess with the key for us.
So crossing our fingers.. we received a private testing fix today. We are being told it will be a windows patch, and not an office patch. The Patch displays Watermarked and can not be shared. but i am hoping to get it installed on a number of machines ASAP that seem to have the most issues.
More investigation has shown that the windows taskbar issue occurs when the User Shell Registry has been modified for some reason (e.g. windows update, change password, any Apps using Microsoft Outlook API or other).
We have analyzed possible relations with the ClickShare App more in-depth and we can confirm that ClickShare does not modify Windows Registry values or permissions from the App. The ClickShare App only reads Microsoft Outlook Calendar via the Microsoft Outlook API for the One Click Join feature.
The problem with the unresponsive Windows taskbar, therefore, is not a ClickShare App issue. It is related to Microsoft and it can be triggered by any application using the Microsoft Outlook API.

I beleive i figured out the issue. I had multiple different subfolders from the box drive folder pinned to my quick access, then after windows 11 installed anytime i used the quick access folder i didn't get the right click options you are talking about. But if i used the box drive app folder i was able to do in. So I just unpinned all those folders from my quick access, i then opend the box drive app, repinned the folders i wanted and it works perfectly. I hope this solves your problem.
By default, Clickshare does not show certain types of popup windows. We have seen this when projecting browser popups, AutoCad, and Visual Impression, but it can happen in many different applications. e24fc04721
