ClickCopier ("we", "our", "us", or "me") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the ClickCopier Chrome extension.

1. Data Collection and Transmission
   We do not collect, transmit, or sell any of your personal data.
   ClickCopier operates entirely locally on your device. We do not have backend servers, and we do not track your browsing history, usage data, or clipboard contents.

2. Data Storage
   All data generated by the extension, including your clipboard history, saved items, and preferences, is stored locally in your browser using the Chrome Storage API (`chrome.storage.local`).

   • Retention: You have full control over your data retention settings. By default, history is cleared after 1 hour, but you can adjust this in the settings.

   • Security: This data never leaves your browser environment and is not accessible to us or any third parties.

3. Permissions
   ClickCopier requires specific permissions to function effectively:

   • Storage: Used solely to save your clipboard history and user preferences locally on your device.

   • Context Menus: Used to add the "ClickCopier Paste" option to your right-click menu for easy pasting.

   • Host Permissions (Access to all websites): Required to allow the "Alt + Click" functionality to detect and copy text/images from any website you visit. The extension only interacts with a page when you explicitly trigger a copy action. We do not monitor your browsing activity.

4. Third-Party Services

   • Google Forms: If you choose to submit feedback via the "Feedback" tab in the extension options, that interaction is handled by Google Forms. Any information you voluntarily provide (such as your name, email, or feedback text) is collected by Google in accordance with their privacy policy and is sent to us for the purpose of improving the extension.

5. Changes to This Policy
   We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
