Cleveland traveled south to Nashville, Tennessee for the USA Hockey Adult Classic. After a very even first game ending In a 0-0 tie on Friday, Saturdays slate of games ended with one win and one loss.  Finishing the round robin stage with a matching record, goal differential helped cement our place In the championship game. Starting the 3rd period down 3-1, the Sturgeon rallied to tie the game with just over a minute to go before ultimately falling In regulation. 

After deciding to become an Independent team In the summer of 2024, a new look was needed for the team. A team wide vote was casted and the Sturgeon came out victorious. The Sturgeon, named after the largest fish In Lake Erie, will debut the new look at the 2025 POWHA Championships.
