Mondays (6:30pm)
About: As the name implies, the group normally runs in different places in Parma but also surrounding communities. This is a particularly good group to connect with if you live the southern portion of the Cleveland area as they know many different and good running routes. 3-5 miles. All abilities.
Tuesdays (6pm)
About: Neighborhood run group which typically meets at Terrestrial Brewing Company in Battery Park. If there's a fifth Tuesday that month, they pick a different location in the city. The Summer route is a loop through nearby Edgewater Park and the winter route is an out and back along the Lakefront Bikeway + Detroit Ave. 4 miles. All ability levels.
Tuesdays, Thursdays (6:30pm) & Saturdays (7:30am)
About: Also hosted by Second Sole Lakewood, staff offer a free weekly group run training series primarily for those preparing for upcoming races (especially half and full marathons but also 5k-ers). Tuesdays (6:30pm)
About: Cleveland Run Club is held on Tuesdays at 6:30pm in a variety of locations across greater Cleveland including Kamms Corner, Rocky River Reservation, Lakewood, Downtown, and Tremont. They use Facebook to post weekly information. Routes are usually 3 or 5 miles. All ability levels.
Tuesdays (6:30pm) & Saturdays (9am)
About: Cleveland's largest weekly run group. Tuesday runs are typically from Pioneer restaurant in Ohio City and usually include a loop around the iconic bridges linking the west side to downtown. Saturday morning run locations vary. 3-5 miles. All ability levels.
Wednesdays (6:15am)
About: Rise and shine for this perky west side run group which meets at Ready Set Coffee in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood. The coffee shop owners are also runners + supporters of the local running scene. 3-5 miles. All ability levels.
Wednesdays (6:15pm)
About: Small but mighty group with easily the most unforgettable running club name in Cleveland (or perhaps anywhere). They have their own swag, sometimes do videos of their runs, and crown a new runner the Weiner of the Week each week. Typical distance is 4-6 miles. Faster-paced group.
Wednesdays (6:30pm)
About: Weekly run group that moves around the area and often joins forces with other groups or running events if they also fall on a Wednesday (such as Run The Land 4th Wednesday monthly runs). Friendly group that explores a lot of different old school and newer places in the region. 3-6 miles. All ability levels.
Third Wednesday (6:30pm)
About: Running store chain with strong local presence that hosts a monthly "mega" group run from Market Garden Brewery every third Wednesday which includes raffle prizes and shoe demos. It's like a monthly run group party. 3-5 miles. For all ability levels.
Thursdays (6:30pm)
About: A Cleveland chapter of a running group which began in Akron. Group chooses different locations each week, is well-organized, and has a loyal following. They also offer a monthly weekend trail run (Trails By Tim, a member of the group). Typical distance is 4-5 miles. Slightly faster-paced group but can accommodate most ability levels.
Thursdays (6:30pm)
About: Located in Cleveland Heights, the group meets every week at the Wine Spot on Lee Road and does a 3 or 5-mile loop run around the Shaker Lakes. West side groups will sometimes join for collab runs. But if you live on the east side, are an evening runner, and are looking for some running company, this is a great group to join. All ability levels.
Fridays (6:30pm)
About: This is a super-social and high-energy group which places emphasis on team-oriented workouts. They also incorporate body weight type strength exercises into their weekly plans. Members also volunteer at places like the food bank throughout the year. Runs are usually loop style (20 or so mins rather than a specific distance) and in the location of wherever the group meets that evening. All ability levels.
Saturdays (7:30am) & Sundays (8:00am) + 4th Wednesday Pub/Ice Cream Run
About: Born from the merger two other groups, CRRC is running club for people of all ages, goals, athletic achievements, and speeds. They have set runs on Saturdays and Sunday but also do a run the 4th Wednesday of each month where they visit a different local brewery and/or ice cream parlor for 3 or 6 miles runs. CRRC is also a non-profit organization which accepts paid memberships, sells swag, and hosts their own races. Members get discounts to races organized by Run The Land. Check their social media or sign up for their email for run info. All ability levels.
Saturdays (8:00am)
About: A local chapter of International Front Runners, a global network of LGBTQ+ running clubs that promote fitness, friendship, and inclusivity. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just getting started, their club welcomes all paces and experience levels. The group meets each Saturday morning at 8am at the Beach House in Edgewater Park. After their run/walk, then head over to Ready Set Coffee Roasters for brunch. Approximately 4 miles. All ability levels.
