FOLKSTYLE

For the youth club, this season runs from August to the first weekend in March (which is the state championship). Also, this is the style that the US uses nationally for middle and high school.  Their state championship is generally the last weekend in February.  

FREESTYLE & GRECO-ROMAN

This style starts immediately after folkstyle ends (beginning of March). The youth use this time to gain skill and get stronger.  This style is used by the Olympics and Girls Collegiate.
