FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition designed for middle and high school students. In this challenge, teams of students design, build, and program robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. The robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by Android technology, and can be coded using various levels of Java-based programming.
The competition aims to inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields by engaging them in hands-on, real-world engineering experiences. Each season features a new game that presents unique challenges and objectives for the robots to accomplish.
