Clerical Necromantic Underground exist at the crossroads where the arcane intersects with industrial-tinged goth. Each song is adapted from esoteric sources, such as ancient grimoires, necromancer manuals, works of medieval ceremonial magic, and books of occult and/or Gnostic philosophy from the days of antiquity. At times, a bit of poetic license and creative editing are employed to better adapt the written works to music, but these instances are kept as minimal as possible so as not to alter the context of the original texts.
