Credence Learning Foundation was born out of thought that our children should not just gain information, but build knowledge out of information. Our children should be critical thinkers, creative doers, problem solvers and decision makers.

We found that our schools have more emphasis on rote learning, than real application of learning. Education being such a big area to work, we thought to build a support system for schools. Currently we support in below categories,

1. Life Skills Exprezz.

2. Kidz Exprezz.

3. Academic Planning support.

Life Skills Exprezz:

We started working on needs of adolescent children enrolled in High-school. We realized that child need to build on lot of life skills such as communication, feedback receiving and giving, understanding dynamics of relationships, critical thinking and so on. Thus we have designed a curriculum segregated at 2 levels, each level having 12 chapters. In the school time table, the school has accommodated 1 hour session of life skills each week. Currently level 1 is targeted to grade 9 and level 2 is targeted to grade 10.

In 2016 the life skills curriculum implementation was started in Modern school, at Kolar, Karnataka. Currently life skills Exprezz program is in its 3rd year of operation.

Kidz Exprezz:

Currently most of the teachers and school management is not aware of holistic child development approach. Holistic development focuses on cognitive development, Spiritual-Socio-emotional development, physical development and language development. In India most of our preschools emphasize more on literacy skills such as numeracy and language literacy with a little aspect of physical play. In 2016 we felt that there is a need of making preschool environment child friendly. For this we selected one school at Kolar in Karnataka state. Initially we did 5 months training for 2 people from management and 5 school teachers. And the next academic year we started implementing the holistic approach.

Currently we support two schools at Kolar, Karnataka.

1. Oxford School.

2. MH Ideal Kids

Academic Planning Support:

There are four components for an effective classroom transaction and learning outcome.

1. Planning.

2. Teaching.

3. Assessment.

4. Remediation/Enrichment.

We felt most of our teachers directly go for teaching without initial classroom lesson planning. For this we have developed a planning sheet called as 'Aim sheet'. The aim sheet has 7 classroom teaching components, such as learning outcome, concrete activities, picking of hard vocabularies, skills which children will take away from the particular lesson and connections which could link to child's heart and soul. i,e, how can we connect the lesson towards child's morality, character and feelings.

Currently this is being implemented in Iqra School at kolar, Karnataka.
